Are you looking for your goat? You might want to call the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, a deputy was called to the scene of a loose goat Saturday afternoon at Mitchell Point.
The deputy was able to lure the goat off of a cliff with an apple from her lunchbox, the post said. A tag on its collar identified the goat as “Maverick.”
If you know what human is responsible for Maverick, the sheriff’s office asks you call them at 541-386-2711.
