If the market were to close, Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce leaders said it would be a multi-million dollar impact snowballing downward, not only hitting farmers but tourism dollars too. That would include people and businesses in counties around Cordele, including the Gomez family who sell their produce only at the Cordele State Farmer’s Market.
