The Steelers snapped their three-game losing streak Sunday, escaping with a 27-19 win over the Broncos. Meanwhile, Denver has lost two in a row after opening the season with three consecutive wins.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger worked through his own injuries, and the loss of wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster (shoulder) in the second quarter, going 15-of-25 passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns — one each to Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool.

Pittsburgh (2-3) rookie tailback Najee Harris gave the Steelers their first 100-yard rusher since Week 5 of last season. Harris finished with 122 rushing yards and one TD. Claypool led the Steelers with 130 receiving yards on five receptions.

Broncos (3-2) quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw two fourth-quarter touchdowns (Kendall Hinton, Courtland Sutton) to put a scare in Pittsburgh. Then Pittsburgh's James Pierre picked off Bridgewater on fourth and goal in the end zone with 17 seconds left to seal the win.
