After viewing his courtroom sketch for his $250 million New York civil fraud trial on Thursday, former President Donald Trump reportedly told the artist he's "gotta lose some weight."
Sketch artists Jane Rosenberg and Isabelle Brourman showed their work to the former president following the end of proceedings for the day.
"I gotta lose some weight," Trump said after viewing Brourman's portrait, according to the artist and Reuters.
Upon his arrest in Fulton County, Ga., in August in his election interference case, Trump's booking record notes him as weighing 215-pounds. In a 2019 examination, while he served as president, Trump reportedly weighted 243-pounds.
Earlier in the trial, the former president's son, Don Trump Jr., told courtroom sketch artist Jane Rosenberg, who was on assignment for Reuters to "make me look sexy."
The former president's trial began in October and Trump continues to deny any wrongdoing in the case where he has been accused of inflating his company's value.
