DETROIT -- By the time the Green Bay Packers left Ford Field after Sunday's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions, they had to be about out of walking boots and crutches.
Here was the tally:
• Receiver Romeo Doubs (ankle) was on crutches and had his right foot in a boot.
• Running back Aaron Jones (ankle) had his left foot in a boot.
• Cornerback Eric Stokes (ankle, knee) was on crutches and had his right foot in a boot.
• Outside linebacker Rashan Gary (knee) was on crutches.
None of them finished the game. Nor did receiver Christian Watson or inside linebacker Krys Barnes, both of whom were being evaluated for a concussion.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari's balky knee flared up after the first half, and he played only on the final series of the second half. Right guard Jon Runyan (knee) and tight end Robert Tonyan (cramps) also missed parts of the game but returned.
Zach Tom replaced Runyan and then moved to left tackle when Runyan returned and Bakhtiari was unable to start the second half. Bakhtiari rode the exercise bike for much of the second half until he returned for the final drive.
"Obviously, we know from past experiences with Dave's situation, that it's pretty fluid," Packers coach Matt LaFleur said. "He wanted to go back in there at the end of the game."
Doubs was injured on the Packers' first play from scrimmage, during which he caught an 18-yard pass. It marked the second straight week the Packers have lost a receiver on their opening drive. Watson suffered a concussion last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and then left again Sunday with a head injury.
The only specific postgame update came from Jones, who said X-rays were negative.
"A little sore," Jones said after the game. "I was fine. They sent me for X-rays. X-rays were fine, but they decided to hold me [out]. It was frustrating because I felt like I could have went, but they were being smart. I definitely respect them, because after I stopped moving around and I sat still for a while, it got kind of sore. I respect them."
The Packers lost their fifth straight game en route to a 3-6 record.
