Purdue is set to lose three offensive linemen in the coming days.
Jimmy McKenna, Kyle Jornigan and Will Bramel are all done with football for Purdue.
It had been reported in recent months that both Bramel and Jornigan were dealing with serious back injuries, these two are probably headed towards a medical redshirt or a medical retire, where they would be able to finish their degree with Purdue.
McKenna has fulfilled his duties as a student athlete at Purdue, he graduated last weekend and will move on from football, there is nothing wrong with a young man ready to start his career.
For Jornigan, there was a lot of unknown with the young man, he appeared in a few games last season before getting hurt.
Bramel, who has played in 12 career games, including 10 starts in 2019, does hurt a bit. He is a pretty versatile piece to lose on the offensive line. He could play offensive tackle or guard and is pretty good at both of them.
For Purdue, there was a lot of hope to having solid depth this season on the offensive line. Obviously, this hurts that depth a bit, but there are plenty of pieces left.
